Peppers Rice


Simple and very colorful dish especially if you use red peppers and yellow peppers.

Ingredients for 5 people:

  • 350 g of rice
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • salt
  • Grana cheese
  • vegetable broth

Preparation:

There are a thousand ways to prepare this recipe and I will try to give you the quickest one without losing your taste.
Take a pot and heat 1 liter of water and when it boils put 3 tablespoons of vegetable stock in powder, mix and wait for the broth to be homogeneous.
Peppers are cleaned and the seeds inside are removed and then cut into strips.
Take another pot and pour a little 'broth and all the strips of pepper, the fire should be medium.
In 5/6 minutes your peppers should be soft and can be added for pepper lovers.
At this point you pour all the rice and slowly mix and add a bit of broth at a time.
It is not necessary to pour all the stock, you have to adjust according to the cooking of the rice.
When cooked, you can add grated cheese to make your rice more creamy.

Tips:

The addition of cheese goes to dampen the taste of peppers but here goes to taste.
