How to make a Margherita Cake

Margherita cake is one of those cakes easy to prepare, soft and ideal to be stuffed.
Very similar to the sponge cake, though this contains butter.
It can be a base for a cake that is decorated but also simple.

Ingredients:
  • 150g of 00 flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 70 g butter
  • 120 g of potato starch
  • half a glass of milk
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 lemon
  • sale
  • powdered sugar
Preparation:
Separate the yolks from the whites and whisk the egg whites until stiff using an electric mixer and add a pinch of sale.
Whip the money with the sugar and when the mixture is homogeneous add the butter.
At this point the milk, the 00 flour, the starch and the yeast are mixed with the yolks a little at a time.
Grate the peel of a lemon and add it to the mixture.
All that remains is a single album all mounted on snow.
Put on a baking sheet.
In oven 180 ° for about 50 minutes.
Once cooked, you can put the icing sugar or fill it with chocolate or cream.
